My team can restore most hardwood and engineered hardwood floors. We have brought some pretty old and worn floors and also furniture back from the depths to pristine condition! The best part is that you save the cost of demolition as hardwood flooring is NOT suitable for a floating floor (or any floor) to be installed over! Typical hardwood demo cost is around $3.00 per square foot. Also, hardwood demolition (if the wood was glued down) is much more destructive and messy than sanding and refinishing! Save the mess AND have a beautiful new floor! We move furniture, hang plastic to protect your home, cleanup, and yes, we can even supply and install new baseboards for you! We sand the existing wood floor, stain to finish, then apply 3 coats of protective finish in your choice of Matte finish, Satin Finish, or High Gloss. Keeping the existing color but full sanding and refinishing will be on the lower end of the $5.00 to $7.50 price spectrum while changing the floor color and patching damaged boards will typically price on the higher end of the spectrum. The average office sized room or guest bedroom is approximately 180 sq ft. This room would cost from $900.00 to $1350.00 for sanding and refinishing plus about $100.00 for furniture moving depending on amount of work going into restoring your hardwood floors, the amount of furniture, and type of color and finish selected. Homes are priced as follows: Square footage times price per square foot Furniture moving is calculated based on size and volume New baseboards are priced by the linear ft based on custom selection Existing baseboard painting and restoration starts at $1.00-$2.00 per linear ft. The above mentioned office room would have around 60 linear ft of baseboards and thus cost $60.00 to $120.00 to have the baseboards repaired and painted.
